'Dun roamin' - wearable art from Walter Raes19. Sep2011

TAGS: table, chair, lamp, clock, vase, chest, light
Designed by Walter Raes

London-based, Belgium-born designer Walter Raes presents this year at the London Festival Design 2011 his new work grouped in an installation which features a meticulously worked vintage room, where each piece of design has been transmogrified from found objects. At a closer look, the traditional British suburban space delivers a sharp comment on waste, as each familiar object turns out to be a pile of inventively reassembled trash. 'Dun roamin' installation contains  new pieces like 'back home chest', 'deb's delight vase', 'fresh comfy chair', 'fish lamp', 'frying-time clock', 'gilded pallet table', 'safety light helmet, 'sole fruit bowl' and 'a 'light' serving'.
