'La Ville Molle' urban installation07. Jun2011

At the Biennale D'Art Contemporaine 2010 held in Bourges, France, Atelier Raum Architects presented 'La Ville Molle', an urban installation which seeks to challenge the city's hardness, soil capacity to change and create unique situations.

Acting as an implant in the middle of the city, the installation shows how the earth moving and adapting beneath our feet can create unique situations. Furthermore, the installation processes the hardness of the city, questioning our relationship with the solid terrain and with the city.
