'Siluett' lamp29. May2011
A translucent/transparent table lamp made of two acrylic sheets cut in an archetypal contour of a table lamp which further develops into a three-dimensional form. When seen directly up front it gives the illusion of a two dimensional lamp. Made for swedish light manufacturer Bsweden 'Siluett' comes in two sizes and 22 brightly colours.

Malin Sköld is a set designer, who longed to return to product design. She studied at Tillskärarakademin and University College of Arts, Craft and Design. In product design, Malin focuses on clean graphic lines, while in set design she often exaggerates and distorts in order to attract attention. Her inspiration comes from fashion, architecture, art, film and photography. For Bsweden, Malin has designed Siluett, where the graphic outline of a lamp has evolved into a three-dimensional form.
