'Wood Fossil' table27. Apr2013

Created by Nucleo's Piergiorgio Robino and Stefania Fersini, 'Wood Fossil' table is a unique one-piece table made of epoxy resin and wood, made exclusively to Gabrielle Ammann Gallery
"The fossilization process evolving, dissolving, leaving an object half fossil half materialized. A game of presence and absence, of lightness and weight, challenging the law of gravity. The wood fossil consolle is realized in up-cycled quality wood and resin. The bench consists of a single block of resin that keeps the relationship between the dissolving piece of wood alive. The pieces in the fossil Wood Fossil introduces a new chapter of unique project inspired by the destruction of matter as a result of time passing by." - Nucleo

"The work of Nucleo creates a contact point between art and design, and is exhibited all over the world, at MoMa in New York, the Beaubourg in Paris and at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
Nucleo is synonym of research, innovation and introspection. We continue to be inspired by the contemporary reality, freely, and sometimes ironically."
