Architecture for Birds - "Chirped Houses"30. Oct2014
"Chirped Houses" is a novel campaign started and curated by De-a Architectura aimed to gather funds for sustaining architecture courses that will be held in the elementary schools across cities and villages of Romania in 2014-2015.
12 architects created unique pieces of design to promote the education about architecture and built enviroment following the rules received from Romanian Ornithological Society, partner of the project.
The houses were sold through auction to major sponsors and 20.000 euros were gathered to fund the courses.
Starting from spring 2015 the "Chirped Houses" will be exhibited in the bird's natural habitat, the Bucharest Botanical Garden.
