EVOL is a Berlin based street artist that reproduces or mixes real urban images and elements by painting them on various supports from urban elements such as electric stations to cardboards and panels that recompose entire portions of a city.
For these works, Evol uses any cardboard surface he gets in his hands to spray paint. The more the cardboard surface show signs of usage and deterioration, the better.
The resulting images are miniature city fragments that look incredibly real. So real that it takes a second look to detach the cardboard canvas from the painted illusion of a 3D image of the urban detail.
