"The [Copenhagen] underground scheme was taken as a basis for the module. By applying a kaleidoscope method to it, the copy and paste effect resulted in a structure which forms the basis/structure of the table. The table has been engraved with representations of the underground stations. Recognizable silhouettes are seen on the table, which represents the subway map of the city." - SashaDasha
Copenhagen table is made ot of cut and folded metal. Available in black or white laquer, produced in Italy by Jamie Hayon Studio
SashaDasha Design is represented by two young and creative designers, the twins Sasha Gantseva and Dasha. They were borned in Moscow, Russia in 1985.Their education consists in Moscow State University of Industrial and Applied Arts named after Stroganov 2002-2008.
They participated in different workshops held by Vitra, Doshi Levien, Pedrita Studio to name a few within the IED Master Madrid, Master Course in European Design Labs 2010, Director Jaime Hayon.
