GRETA is a pendent lamp with an adjustable lampshade. By pulling the drawstring the user can change the character of the piece and redirect the light.
Available in green, yellow, pink, blue, black and white.
Greta is produced by Svenskt Tenn.
Design group Whatswhat was started in 2010 by Karin Wallenbeck, John Astbury and Bengt Brummer, who met at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. While they were students, the group designed the Greta lampshade. They work together under the name WHATSWHAT as well as individually outside of the collective.
The trio has experience from a wide variety of projects, ranging from self initiated, commissions, creative direction and strategic design work for large design consultancies. Their collaborative process is analytical yet naive, resulting in a holistic approach that can be applied to many fields. Their work includes projects within product, furniture, interior and culinary design.
