House in Fuji25. Jun2011

TAGS: house, concrete
Designed by Level Architects

The House in Fuji built by Level Architects in Fuji city is a single family residence consisting of three-story concrete monolith building which entirely shifts and tapers in response to the surrounding landscape. The house provides a series of private and contemplative spaces according to each inhabitant's personal hobbies. The roof was cut in three semi-enclosed terraces designed to frame views of the mountain Fuji bringing back a scene that was becoming lost in daily activities.

Details about the 'Making of' the house can be found at Whatwedoissecret blog.
