KOREN chair31. May2012
"Koren (from the Serbian word for “roots”) looks to early manufacturing techniques with the aim of moving beyond traditional formal shapes without sacrificing simplicity or the ability to adapt to different home settings. The single-material chair is made of six pieces of beech wood that are compressed, joined and positioned on the rear of the seatback to serve as a coat, hat and bag hanger, fullfilling the often unsatisfied need for “somewhere to put” our things when we sit down." - Djordje Zivanovic
