'Outline' seat collection is formed by a chair, a stool and a bench, all with solid wood seat with front and back legs manufactured in two parts from bent 10mm mild steel.
Wood seat available in either oak, ash or walnut finished with wax. The steel that form the feet and backrest of the furniture is powder coated in black as standard and other colours available on request.
With a background in industrial design and cabinet making Jody produces simple and honest pieces which aim to blend industry and craft through materials, processes and design.
Makers has worked with Jody to develop the Outline range of chairs, benches and stools for manufacturing. The Outline range combines steel and timber to create simple, sturdy and shapely seats.

Milton & Mees is a UK based design studio founded by Jody Milton in 2011.With a background in industrial design, cabinet making and interiors we produce simple, honest and well crafted products which work beautifully well in both domestic and contract environments. Our approach is to use a simple aesthetic, often combined with an industrial edge, bridging the gap between craft and technology.
We produce mass and batch production items and one-off commisions for private clients. We also design for manuafacturers and retailers.
