Revolver is a four-legged rotating bar stool. The circular movement allowed by the integration of a ball bearing into the lower ring is limitless. The foot rest turns together with the seat, creating a surprising yet functional experience. By allowing one's entire body to turn at once Revolver enables what bar stools are best suited for: socializing with friends.
Ransmeier believes that reductionism can be more than just styling, and strives to utilise the absence of formal distractions to focus on clear, informed interactions. His work explores intuition and object behaviour. 
Born in 1979, Leon Ransmeier graduated in 2001 from the Rhode Island School of Design. Several of his products were recently exhibited in the 2010 Design Triennial, ‘Why Design Now?’ and at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum where his work is also included in the permanent collection. 
Revolver bar stool was presented this year at Milano International Furniture Fair for Established & Sons.
