It was created as part of my degree project, Half-truths, as a way to offer a shared physical experience that breaks through social convention and etiquette. About Charlie McArthur:Charlie has a background in business and two-dimensional design. He recently turned to object design as a means to engage his passion for "things," having previously worked across a variety of mediums, including web and graphic design, live and recorded music, and photography. Taking inspiration from subtle interpersonal interactions, hidden motivations, and glaring social issues, his work reflects the under appreciated qualities of daily life.
He acquired a Master of Design in Designed Objects at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Purdue University in 2005.
