Take + Make project consists in a sustainable lamp kit that can be taken into pieces and assembled at home at your own wish. Made out of few assembly parts, the Take + Make lamp it's easy to assemble in various combinations and colors and the result is a joyful object that cheers up the atmosphere of any room while it plays its functional role.
The lampshades are oiled and dyed ash while their shape is held in their cone shape only by rubber bands and wooden dowels.

Aker Collective was created in the spring of 2010, by four graduates from the Steneby School for Craft and Design. During their first year they have focused on how to create truly sustainable products through emotional connections, choice of material and LCA (Life Cycle Analysis).The design team is situated in London and Stockholm and consists of Bobby Petersen, Oskar, Magnus Kerslow and Linus Strom.
