Yo house19. Jul2011
Yo house is a private house located nearby Kazanawa city in Japan. Completed in 2010 with a 78sm floor area, the house was build from reinforced concrete, glass and stainless steel panels.
The design of the house aims to create a space that captures the season changing colors and dynamics. All interior spaces, defined by specific functions of a house, were placed on the perimeter, looking outward.
The physical partitions between rooms and center of the house were removed creating a common space in the middle of the house which contains a little from each room in it. Thus, the entire house becomes a continuous flow of circulation allowing to see the outside through each room while standing in the middle.
